I just received this email from a rocking blogger:
“Good Evening sir,
Hope you and your family fit and running. Actually I have listed my
WordPress blog [insert site name] for sale on Flippa. Here are
my blog’s key statistics,
Niche – Investment & Blogging
Domain Authority – 14
Page Authority – 33.
If you are interested then please place your bid in the auctions
starting from $1.
I appreciate this blogger. I love their hustle. I do not share this to criticize the individual. I do things with love.
I copy-pasted this specific email because it explains why few bloggers make money online.
If you think, feel and act like a blogger who’s trying to make $1, you will make $1 or 0 zero dollars.
If you think, feel and act like a blogger who holds a fun, freeing intent to circle the globe, or to blog from home being surrounded by your family, you will eventually make enough money to live your dreams of circling the globe or working at home with your family.
Let’s hop into the mind of this rocking blogger. He-she sets the goal: make $1.
Start bidding at $1. The individual knows based on low blog metrics, the bidding starts at 1 buck. OK. Cool. But how can you ever earn a full time income online by selling sites for $1? How can you be free to circle the globe if you lower the blogging income bar to a point where bidding for a site begins at 1 USD?
Again; I love you guys so I am honest with you. Unfortunately, I only tell the truth to people I care about 🙂
The simple way to make more money blogging is to develop your abundance consciousness. Goodness knows I have more than enough eBooks on this topic. Here’s one. But basically, developing your abundance consciousness involves feeling abundant, wealthy and grateful while facing, feeling and releasing poverty conscious fears in your mind.
In 2016, I created and published this blogging audio course:
I charged $35 for the course because deep fears burrowed into my mind regarding the course. I thought like a poor person concerning the course. I expected to make basically nothing off of the course, deep down, truly. Naturally, I did what broke folks do: charge basically nothing for the value you offer.
Eventually, I triggered and unearthed deep money fears. I then felt better about the course. I charged $100. I then – years later – realized the value rendered in the course. I faced some more fears. I charged $350.
Same course content, but different mindset. I fully realized the massive value I shared and dream-life I lived warranted a $350 asking price. Making money blogging gets a bit easier if you charge $350 for a valuable course versus charging $35 for a course you feel is nothing special. My mindset made the difference. Your mindset makes the difference with your blogging campaign.
Raise the bar. Face money fears. Feel ‘em. Release ‘em. Value your work. Observe what bloggers in your niche charge for products and services. Get super busy developing the skills necessary to charge premium rates and prices. Earn the right to earn more money. Raise the bar on your skills by practicing your craft, then raise the bar on your pricing.
Never sell yourself short. Never charge peanuts for products and services. No blogger frees themselves charging $1 for a website or $5 for valued services offered because based on the human life span, eventually, you run out of time. Think about it; completing 20 jobs for $5 per hire daily nets you $100 daily. Are you serious? Try slaving, straining and striving by completing 20 jobs daily for $5 for 10 years. You will burn out and quit before earning a halfway decent living. You are not making enough money to earn a freeing living, let alone, freeing yourself to circle the globe for years, through blogging.
Polish your skills. Develop your abundance consciousness. Develop the skills and confidence necessary to charge $100, $500 or $1000 per job. Free yourself. Stop blogging for peanuts. As your skills, confidence and clarity increases, so does your pricing, services and blogging income.
Everything depends on your mindset.
